CALLER: Thank you very, very much, Rush. It\u2019s a pleasure talk to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s a pleasure to talk to Bo. We love your tea.<\/a> We voted online, as you requested, against Obamacare. The reason I\u2019m calling, we moved 11 years ago from the state of Washington here to Arizona. At that time, we had Napolitano in office. When she went out, we were $3 billion in debt. Jan Brewer took over. Within two years, she brought us into the black. She fought the Democrats all the way. I think this is probably gonna be answering my own question, but I cannot figure out why the people in office in our capital can\u2019t get our budget in place by just looking at some of the things that governors, et cetera, in our state and others have done.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, let me ask you a question.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you really think they want to? In the case of Obama, do you think they want to balance the budget?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, because, you know what? They wouldn\u2019t be able to balance it and still keep paying all those entitlements, and I want to tell you how hard it is in this retirement community to go up to a grocery store line and the people in front of us that are young and using those entitlement cards for the things they\u2019re buying. My husband and I have been married 54 years. We\u2019ve always stuck to a budget. We both always worked. We were hard workers, dedicated, loyal, good workers. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Sharon, let me just tell you. The Democrats don\u2019t want to balance the budget. They don\u2019t want any limits on their spending. It\u2019s how they create dependency. It\u2019s how they buy votes. It\u2019s how they buy power. It\u2019s how they become Santa Claus. They don\u2019t have to balance the budget. The governor of Arizona does. She can\u2019t print money. She can\u2019t borrow money if her state\u2019s in such debt that the credit rating doesn\u2019t exist, so she\u2019s gotta balance the budget. Every governor does. <\/p>\n

Well, the California governor doesn\u2019t for some reason and the Illinois governor doesn\u2019t, but every other governor seems to have to. But the Democrats in Washington, the last thing they want to do is balance the budget. Obama doesn\u2019t think we\u2019ve got a debt problem now. Balance the budget? We\u2019re printing $1 trillion a year, the Federal Reserve is, that we don\u2019t have, and it\u2019s backed up by nothing. Sharon, I appreciate the call. Thank you.<\/p>\n
