This is yesterday, Dana Bash, Q&amp;A with Dingy Harry.<\/p>\n<p>BASH:  If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do it?<\/p>\n<p>REID:  Why would we want to do that? I have 1,100 people at Nellis Air Force base that are sitting home. They have a few problems of their own. This is&#8230; To have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BASH:  I\u2019m just asking a question.<\/p>\n<p>REID:  &#8212; you\u00c2\u2019re irresponsible and reckless.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O0lFyFJeZSY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Can you hear it? She is so embarrassed.  Her idol, Harry Reid, has humiliated her.  Little Dana Bash, accredited CNN infobabe, official member of the establishment, part of the ruling class, walks up to her idol, Harry Reid, when she learns that Reid refuses a Republican bill that would fund the National Institutes of Health&#8230; This is the story yesterday where 200 kids denied cancer treatment.  Republicans said, &#8220;Here\u2019s a bill that pays for that,&#8221; and Dingy Harry said, &#8220;No, I\u2019m not gonna get tricked into that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So Dana Bash asked, &#8220;If you could help one child has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do that?&#8221; and Reid said, &#8220;Why would we want to do that, you dumb b-i itch? we\u2019ve got 1100 people at Nellis Air Force Base sitting at home.  They got a few problems of their own.  To have someone of your intelligence suggest such a thing maybe means you\u2019re irresponsible.&#8221; Bash: &#8220;I\u2019m just asking a question! I\u2019m just asking a question.&#8221;  Jeez.  Jeez, oh, man.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You know, I heard and read the Dingy Harry answer to Dana Bash yesterday, but I didn\u2019t know it was anything like this.  This is just&#8230; This is what I mean about them imploding.  So she says, &#8220;If you could help one the child who has, why wouldn\u2019t you do that?&#8221;  And he gets mad!  I mean, this is his buddy in the media.  Harry Reid is one of her idols.  If she didn\u2019t work at CNN, she\u2019d like to work for him.  &#8220;Why would we want to do that?  Why would I want to save one kid with cancer when I have 1,100 people at Nellis Air Force Base sitting home?  They have a few problems of their own.  Have someone of your intelligence suggest such a thing means that you\u2019re just maybe irresponsible.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m just asking a question! I\u2019m just asking a question.&#8221;  (Crying) &#8220;Just a question.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Dingy Harry was asked to repeat what he\u2019d said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=11241\"><img id=\"eZObject_81984\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaCancer.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>REID:  Little kids who are not gonna have clinical trials.  Of course I care about that! I have 16 of my own grandchildren, five children.  What I told Dana Bash, who is a fine reporter, is that we care about all these things.  We care about our state parks.  We care about our veterans, but we can\u2019t fall into the trap &#8212; and here is the trap of the Cruz-led Republicans, and that is this, &#8220;Listen, we\u2019ll cherry-pick. We\u2019ll &#8212; we\u2019ll open this today and this tomorrow and this tomorrow, and finally at the end, everything will be open except the money to finish Obamacare.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  All right. We gotta have some comment on that, too, but we gotta break, so we\u2019ll be back.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You know, I don\u2019t want to make too big a deal out of this, but I could.  I could spend 15 minutes on this exchange, talking about this.  But there are so many other things going on out there, things I wanted to talk about but scroll out of view.  I\u2019m just struck.  He says he\u2019s not going to fall for the Cruz-led Republican trap.  And is what the Cruz-led Republican trap?  Cherry-pick.  We\u2019re not gonna cherry-pick. <\/p>\n<p>Would somebody explain to me what the hell Obama\u2019s been doing with his own health care plan?  He\u2019s been cherry-picking who gets a waiver and who doesn\u2019t.  He\u2019s been cherry-picking who\u2019s subject to it and who isn\u2019t.  He\u2019s been cherry-picking laws that he doesn\u2019t like left and right, DOMA, gay marriage, you name it, Obama cherry-picks, and if he doesn\u2019t like a law, he just ignores it.  But his own health care plan, he decides what will be delayed and what won\u2019t be delayed. <\/p>\n<p>In fact, Betsy McCaughey has made the point that what we are implementing today is not the legislation that was signed into law by Obama.  The law as signed by Obama did not have waivers for 2,500 companies, businesses, and unions.  The law as signed by Obama did not have a one-year delay of the employer mandate.  And the point that she is making in this is that we have a president who is behaving outside the bounds of the Constitution.  He\u2019s lawless.  By virtue of his own cherry-picking, he\u2019s deciding what parts of his own law he\u2019s going to delay so as not to hurt him or his party in future elections.  So the employer mandate, delayed \u2019til 2015.  A bunch of businesses and unions got waivers through the 2012 election. <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_81991\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/BashReid.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Betsy McCaughey makes a great point.  The thing that\u2019s implementing today, the exchanges, it\u2019s not what he signed into law.  He has changed it dramatically, on his own, outside the law.  But, folks, I really want to go back.  I want to go back to Dingy Harry\u2019s answer, number five.  The Dana Bash question.  I have the transcript of the full question that she asked here.  She said to Dingy Harry, &#8220;Given what you said, will you at least pass that?  And if not, aren\u2019t you playing the same political games that the Republicans are?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>So even in her question she savaged the Republicans.  Even in her question, she ripped the Republicans.  And that wasn\u2019t good enough for him.  Then she said, &#8220;I mean, the premise is the Republicans are playing political games with the lives of children.  How much more bias can you get?&#8221;  And that\u2019s what her point is.  She is saying, in her question here, the premise of her question is that the Republicans are playing political games with the lives of children.  She\u2019s totally on his side. <\/p>\n<p>The Republicans are not playing games.  It\u2019s Obama and Harry Reid who\u2019ve shut down the government.  There are 200 kids that can\u2019t get treated for cancer at NIH.  The Republicans offered a bill to fund it, that and many others, and every damn one of them Obama and Harry Reid have said &#8220;no&#8221; to.  And while they say &#8220;no&#8221; to it, they accuse the Republicans, and Dana Bash did in her question, the premise of her question is the Republicans are playing political games with the lives of children.  And that\u2019s still not enough for Harry Reid. <\/p>\n<p>And then she said, &#8220;You all talked about children with cancer unable to go to clinical trials. The House is presumably going to pass a bill that funds the NIH. Will you, at least, pass that? And if not, aren\u2019t you playing the same political games that republicans are?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And Harry Reid said, &#8220;Listen, Senator Durbin explained that very well. And he\u2019s, did it here, did it on the floor earlier, as did Senator Schumer, and it\u2019s this: What right do they have to pick and choose what part of government\u2019s going to be funded? It\u2019s obvious what\u2019s going on here. You talk about reckless and irresponsible. Wow. What this is all about is Obamacare. They are obsessed. I don\u2019t know what other word I can use. They are obsessed with this Obamacare thing. &#8230; It\u2019s working now and it\u2019ll continue to work and people will love it even more than they do now by far. So they have no right to pick and choose.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s when she said, &#8220;But you could help one child who has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do that?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s that exchange again.  Sound bite number five.  Listen to this. Now that you\u2019ve heard her premise, which was to attack the Republicans, she is totally on his side throughout this question, except when did she says, &#8220;If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do it?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_81994\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ReidDespicableReid.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>BASH:  If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do it?<\/p>\n<p>REID:  Why would we want to do that? (crying) Golly, Harry, I love you so much, I\u2019m just asking a question.&#8221;  I don\u2019t know.  &#8220;To have someone of your intelligence suggest such a thing maybe means you\u2019re irresponsible.&#8221;  Helping a child.  So he\u2019s on the hot seat.  Now, the reason, folks, I\u2019m spending time on this is because, you know it as well as I do, that meanness, that heartlessness, which came naturally to him, he was faced with a straightforward question:  &#8220;If you could help kids, why wouldn\u2019t you?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Why would we do that?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The media tells everybody that it\u2019s the Republicans who have no heart, it\u2019s the Republicans who hate women, War on Women, kids, minorities, you name it.  It\u2019s the Republicans who are trying to fund these programs after the Democrats shut this process all down.  And the truth always comes out.  It\u2019s Dingy Harry who is the mean SOB.  It\u2019s Harry Reid who is the snarky, mean, insensitive, little &#8220;get off my yard&#8221; guy.  Even snapping at one of his own friends in the media.  So then we get to the next sound bite. Bill Press released a clip, he interviewed Dingy Harry and he released a clip of it because nobody listens.  So they had to release a transcript. <\/p>\n<p>The question was, &#8220;There\u2019s been some flak in the last few hours over a comment you made on CNN.  You were asked on CNN if you could help one child who has cancer, why wouldn\u2019t you do it. And your response was, &#8216;Why would we want to do that?'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>REID: Little kids who are not going to have clinical trials, of course I care about that. Cherry-pick?  Cherry-pick?  What the heck is Obamacare now but nothing but a cherry-picked amalgam of things that are taken out of it so that they will not hurt the Democrat Party if implemented.  I mean, this is outrageous, 2,500 waivers, you name it.  The cherry-picks that Obama has made with his own bill dwarf what\u2019s going on here. <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_81997\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaDoctors.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>I think Harry Reid proves exactly why the government should not have so much control over people\u2019s health care, because Harry Reid was basically saying, &#8220;You do what we say or kids will die.&#8221;  Now, no government should ever have that much power over its citizens, but particularly ours, which is a constitutional republic.  &#8220;You do what we say or kids will die.&#8221;  That was Harry Reid exercising the power that he thinks he has. <\/p>\n<p>Why would we do that? <\/p>\n<p>Why would we save the life of a child? <\/p>\n<p>By the way, all of Harry Reid\u2019s kids are congressional lobbyists.  When it comes to cherry-picking, what are the Republicans asking for that Obama hasn\u2019t already gotten?  They asked for a delay of the individual mandate just like Obamacare got an employer mandate delay.  Cherry-picking.  Obamacare\u2019s a cherry orchard.  Obamacare\u2019s a cherry pie.  Obamacare\u2019s a cherry Pop Tart.  Obamacare\u2019s cherry Kool-Aid, and we\u2019re all being forced to drink the damn stuff. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. President, the person holding up funding of this government and shutting it down is you, you and Senator Reid.  The GOP have already, and are prepared to, send you bills to fund the government.  If you really want to fund the NIH to help those sick little people, those kids, here\u2019s a bill; here\u2019s a pen. Go fund yourself!  WIC, Head Start, the National Parks? Here\u2019s a bill. Here\u2019s a pen.  Go fund yourself!  Military?  No, you don\u2019t really want to fund them, so never mind. <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a bill that extends the same subsidies, waivers and breaks that you\u2019ve given members of Congress, your union buddies, other special interest groups. Here\u2019s a bill that gives all that to the American people.  Here\u2019s a bill.  Here\u2019s a pen.  Fund that.  How about an Obamacare that treats everybody the same, Mr. President?  Or how about an Obamacare that we just don\u2019t do right now because it\u2019s such an abject mess?  Harry Reid.  And yet, folks, it\u2019s the Republicans. Even after that happens. <\/p>\n<p>Listen to Van Jones.  He\u2019s on Crossfire last night on CNN, and they\u2019re talking about Harry Reid saying: What do you mean, save one child\u2019s life?  Why would we do that?<\/p>\n<p>JONES:  He\u2019s gonna get beat up for that.  I think we all know that Reid cares a lot about kids.  It was a good question and a bad answer I\u00c2\u2019ll give you that. I don\u2019t think anybody\u2019s gonna sit here and say that he handled the question well.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Except that you, Jones, naturally want to come and give the benefit of the doubt.  Why?  &#8216;Cause he\u2019s a good liberal.  Did you guys give Romney the benefit any doubt when you\u2019re telling lies about him, Mr. Jones?<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I still can\u2019t get over that Dana Bash question to Harry Reid and his answer to her reaction.  I mean, he says to her, &#8220;I can\u2019t believe you\u2019d ask me a question like that.  You must be very irresponsible.&#8221; He says that to her because he knows that she\u2019s on his side.  He says that to her because there\u2019s no way he\u2019s gonna put him on the spot. <\/p>\n<p>She not gonna do that, and she did, and he can\u2019t believe it &#8212; and that\u2019s insolence! You don\u2019t do that and stay in the ruling class.  So he had to challenge her qualifications, her womanhood, her femininity, everything &#8212; and what was her reaction?  &#8220;I\u2019m just asking a question! God, I\u2019m just asking a question,&#8221; and then nothing more said about it.  I think she\u2019s the only one who\u2019s even mentioned it.  I haven\u2019t seen anybody other than, you know, occasionally somebody on Fox. <\/p>\n<p>We have here have pointed out that Dingy Harry said, &#8220;Why would I save the life of one kid, when I got 1,100 people at my air base in Nevada that I gotta help?&#8221; Nobody else has brought it up.  I\u2019m still struck by that, folks.  There\u2019s so much to learn from that. He couldn\u2019t believe she would act so insolent.  How dare she embarrass him!  Doesn\u2019t she know who\u2019s running this show?  Doesn\u2019t she know that she\u2019s only allowed to be in the establishment because people like him permit it? <\/p>\n<p>Who does she think she is? <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what\u2019s all wrapped up into that.  Do not doubt me &#8212; and she knows it, by virtue of saying, &#8220;I\u2019m just asking a question! Oh, God! Oh, God! I\u2019m just asking a question.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You know, back in the old days of the Soviet Union, if somebody at Pravda or Izvestia had asked Brezhnev or Khrushchev a question like Dana Bash asked Harry Reid, they\u2019d be sent to the gulag or a reeducation camp. (interruption) No, they wouldn\u2019t have been sent to MSNBC, \u2019cause there wasn\u2019t one.  Not even the Soviet Union had anything that bad.  MSNBC is an embarrassment to the regime.  The Soviet Union, oh, yeah.  Make no mistake about it, MSNBC is an embarrassment for the regime. <\/p>\n<p>Now, the regime may not know it, but it\u2019s an embarrassment for the regime.  The Soviets knew what they were doing when it came to media.  They had Pravda, Izvestia, Interfax, but they didn\u2019t have goons, loons, and just whatever that stable is there.  They at least tried to put their best foot forward. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Chuck-U Schumer this afternoon, Capitol Hill.  Grab sound bite 28, we have time to squeeze this in.  Here is what this piecemeal cherry-pick stuff is really all about.<\/p>\n<p>SCHUMER:  To fund these piecemeal bills would give Ted Cruz a veto power over what is funded and what isn\u2019t.  Ted Cruz came up with this strategy.  Shut down the whole government and then we\u2019ll pick a few pieces and let you fund them.  Ted Cruz is not the entire US government.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  They\u2019re melting down.
