Did you see where Bill Clinton has said that Obama needs to keep his word about keeping our insurance plans if we like \u2019em?  If you\u2019re Obama, can you imagine being lectured to about honesty and integrity from a convicted perjurer, Bill Clinton?  My gosh, folks, I mean, literally how far has one fallen when that is the case? <\/p>\n<p><BR\/>How are you, my friends?  Great to have you here, Rush Limbaugh, the EIB Network.  And three hours of broadcast excellence.<\/line><BR\/><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Y9yVy-RXhxQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/line><\/p>\n<p>Here is Bill Clinton.  This was this morning on the website Ozy.com, and a well-known correspondent Carlos Watson.  The well-known correspondent Carlos Watson on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ozy.com\/c-notes\/assessing-the-healthcare-rollout-with-bill-clinton\/3639.article\">Ozy.com<\/a>. Have you ever heard of Ozy.com?  Clinton was there having a discussion about problems with the Obamacare rollout.  And here is Slick Willie.<\/p>\n<p>CLINTON:  For young people mostly, but not all young, who are in the individual market whose incomes are above 400% of the poverty level, they were the ones who heard the promise, &#8220;If you like what you got, you can keep it.&#8221;  I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let \u2019em keep what they got.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  There is a big move on, folks, a big move on.  First off, Slick Willie:  President Obama should fulfill the promise he made that Americans could keep the health insurance they have, even it means changing the law. (Clinton impression) &#8220;I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let \u2019em keep what they got.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_83638\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Clinton111213.jpg\"\/><BR\/>And then Clinton told the story of a young man who he said had his insurance policy canceled and replaced with a new one, with premiums twice as high, but because his copays and deductibles are lowering, Clinton said the man might still save money if he and his family actually use their insurance.  Clinton suggested, though, that the man should have been able to keep his old policy based on Obama\u2019s promise. <\/line><\/p>\n<p>Now, folks, when Der Schlick Meister comes out and undercuts the president of the United States on a promise the president made, &#8220;Yeah, I think he should honor that commitment.&#8221;  There\u2019s always a motive.  There are no coincidences with the Clintons.  Nothing just happens.  So you sit here and say, &#8220;Well, what\u2019s in it for Bill Clinton to enter this fray?  What\u2019s in it for him here?&#8221;  Obviously one of the answers is, well, you got Hillary, but Hillary\u2019s not gonna be running against Obama, as far as we know. <\/p>\n<p>So what\u2019s in it for Slick Willie here?  What\u2019s the purpose for Slick Willie to head in there and insert himself in this and basically acknowledge that the president, Barack Obama, lied to people and now it\u2019s up to the president to honor his commitment, change the lie?  I personally find this fascinating. <\/p>\n<p><BR\/>And then, ladies and gentlemen, there\u2019s a story here, 12 senators, 12 Democrats that are in tight elections next year, trooped up to the White House, and they begged Obama to do something here, change this.  What they really want is to delay the individual mandate \u2019til after the election of 2014, and, of course, this is a pitfall for the Republicans if they don\u2019t handle this right. If they go along with that they are allowing Obama to slip out of their grasp and everybody else\u2019s grasp. But these 12 senators went up there and they\u2019re begging Obama to delay the individual mandate, thereby allowing people to keep their policies. <\/line><img id=\"eZObject_83637\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaBill.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the problem with this, folks.  There have now been more than 4.8 million US policyholders who\u2019ve had their insurance cancelled, and the number climbs every day.  Let\u2019s round that off to five million because it probably is by now.  Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the number of people who\u2019ve signed up for insurance under Obamacare is 40,000 to 50,000 via the federal exchange, and 49,000 for all the state exchanges.  There\u2019s some states, of course, that didn\u2019t do federal exchange.  So all told, what you have there is a hundred thousand people who have signed up, according to the Journal, versus five million who have had their policies canceled. <\/p>\n<p>However, in a little sleight of hand here, the federal and state plans are counting people who have just put an insurance plan in their shopping cart on the website.  They have not closed the deal, all of them.  You know, when you go shop on an Internet website, you buy what you want, you click you want it and it goes in your shopping cart, and when you finish shopping, then you go to the checkout where you give a credit card and hope nobody steals the data.  Well, that\u2019s what\u2019s happened here.  The number is about 50% of this 100,000 that it\u2019s claimed that have signed up. It\u2019s actually only 50% of those who\u2019ve actually gone on and closed the deal.  Over half am of \u2019em still have the plan that they\u2019ve chosen in the shopping cart but they haven\u2019t actually closed the deal.  They haven\u2019t made the purchase. <\/p>\n<p>So the real numbers are five million cancellations compared to about 50,000 insurance plans bought, which means that there have been 100 cancellations for every sign-up for Obamacare.  This news is so bad, I turned on CNN today and they were talking about Syria.  That\u2019s what Obama and his boys are calling the good old days, news out of Syria.  Now, lest we forget here, folks, these insurance policies that are being canceled are usually for more than one person.  So when they say that 4.8 million plans have been canceled we may be talking about families of two all the way up to four.  The number of people who\u2019ve had their insurance canceled could be three times that amount.  Could be, don\u2019t know, it\u2019s a wild guess.  But we know that most policies insure more than just one person:  spouse and a child, for example. <\/p>\n<p><BR\/>So we could be talking about 15 million people here who have already lost their insurance thanks to Obamacare, and these plans that have been canceled are gone.  I don\u2019t know &#8212; we talked about the this yesterday &#8212; I don\u2019t know how you turn back the hands of time and simply say, <\/line><img id=\"eZObject_83639\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaNBCImSorryYouBelievedMe-1.jpg\"\/><BR\/>&#8220;Oh, that old plan you used to have, here, here it is again,&#8221; how do you that?  Those plans are gone, by virtue of the law, they\u2019re gone.  I don\u2019t want to be repetitive here, but this is why this lie that he told is so profoundly fraudulent.  This is not just an average little political white lie saying, &#8220;Sorry, I can\u2019t cut your taxes. I\u2019ve worked harder than I ever have for the past two weeks and there just isn\u2019t the money.&#8221;  It\u2019s not one of those kinds of lies. <\/line><\/p>\n<p>This was a lie steeped in fraud with the specific intent of deceiving people into voting for Obama, and there\u2019s no way to go back.  Those plans are gone.  Those plans don\u2019t comply.  That\u2019s why they\u2019ve been cancelled.  They\u2019re not sitting out there in a lockbox waiting to be reinstituted.  They\u2019re gone, precisely because of Obamacare. <\/p>\n<p><BR\/>So it\u2019s easy for Slick Willie to come up here, &#8220;You know what? I think the president will honor his commitment, and I think if he promised those people they get to keep their plan, he should let \u2019em keep their insurance.&#8221; Their plans are gone.  I don\u2019t know why nobody is talking about this.<\/line><BR\/>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: By the way, Jay Carney, the White House spokesman this afternoon in a press briefing, do you know that he agrees with Clinton?  Clinton says that Obama ought to be honest and tell the truth.  Jay Carney was asked about it by Julie Pace of the AP, said, &#8220;Clinton made a comment, talked about health care, said Barack Obama should honor his commitment to people who\u2019ve lost their health insurance.  What about that, Jay?&#8221;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CARNEY:  As you saw the president say in an interview with NBC last week, the answer is, yes, the president has tasked his team with looking at a range of options, as he said, to make sure that nobody is put in a position where their plans have been canceled and they can\u2019t afford a better plan even though they\u2019d like to have a better plan.<\/p>\n<p><BR\/>RUSH:  The president has tasked his team with looking at a range of options.  Why, it\u2019s the Limbaugh Theorem.  Obama agrees with Clinton.  He thinks he should keep his promise, too.  &#8220;Yeah, I do.  I think that guy who made that promise ought keep it.&#8221;  This is unreal!  Limbaugh Theorem right in front of your face.  Obama agrees with Clinton, that that guy Obama ought to keep his promise, and he\u2019s working real hard to make sure that that guy Obama keeps his promise.<\/line><BR\/>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  We gotta play this sound bites again from Jay Carney, because I had to Rush through it in a hurry, and we\u2019re gonna get to the phones right after this.  But you\u2019ve got to hear this again.  This is at the White House this afternoon.  Clinton said earlier today on an obscure website program, &#8220;I think the president ought to honor his commitment.  I think since he promised people they can keep their insurance, so they ought to be able to keep it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He\u2019s gonna have change the law. I think that\u2019s the only thing that could happen.&#8221;  So Julie Pace asks Jay Carney about that.  &#8220;I wanted to get your reaction to a comment that President Clinton made in an interview that was posted today. He was talking about health care and he said that President Obama should honor his commitment to people who have lost their health care or are losing their health care under the president\u2019 law even if it means changing that law. That\u2019s where they\u2019re headed.  I think that\u2019s what they\u2019re gonna end up doing &#8212; and you wait, because Obama does not want this repealed.  He\u2019s not gonna sit there for that. He\u2019s not gonna let any Democrat talk him into repeal.  So what they\u2019ll come up with is a taxpayer subsidy in order to buy off these people before 2014.  You know dead to rights that\u2019s what\u2019s gonna happen. <\/p>\n<p>He\u2019ll call a national address (impression), &#8220;If you\u2019ve been canceled, if you lost your insurance and the plan that you want is better but you can\u2019t afford it, then, uh, we\u2019ll subsidize that new plan for you.&#8221;  He doesn\u2019t want people put in a position where they &#8220;can\u2019t afford a better plan.&#8221;  What the hell does that mean?  That means he\u2019s gonna subsidize \u2019em! Well, he\u2019s the guy that put \u2019em in that position.  His law canceled their insurance &#8212; by design &#8212; and he lied to them about it, and now that everybody\u2019s up in arms over it he\u2019ll just come around and he\u2019ll offer \u2019em a subsidy. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A one-time subsidy for these special people, these 5% of Americans.
