RUSH: Here\u2019s Tanya in Eddy, Texas. Tanya, I really appreciate your patience, and welcome to the program.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, thank you. No problem. I\u2019ve enjoyed sitting here listening to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that. I really do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: My grandmother and my dad forever have been sitting here reading your book on his Nook, Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And my grandmother has figured out through her — she\u2019s been doing genealogy research for the last, oh, who knows, 50, 60 years, and she is the eighth great granddaughter of Governor William Bradford.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No way.<\/p>\n

<\/a>CALLER: Yes, which makes me the tenth. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: No way.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes way. Yes absolute way. And she\u2019s also the ninth great granddaughter —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait, your grandmother.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — of Edward Winslow.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Your grandmother is the eighth great-granddaughter of William Bradford, that would make you the tenth, obviously?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, that makes me the tenth. Isn\u2019t that exciting?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, but I\u2019ll tell you what\u2019s exciting to me is that there\u2019s only a few people who could be related to William Bradford, and you happen to listen to this program.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what blows me away. What are the odds of that? That\u2019s just phenomenal.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s very exciting to me. I mean, when I was in third grade, my grandmother did a school (loss of audio) on the Mayflower and she made out the pedigree chart of how we were related to everybody, and of course it bored me to tears when I was in third grade, but I\u2019ve grown to become very interested in it over the last 30 something years. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I know, third grade, you don\u2019t care about any of that stuff, but now it\u2019s —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Just tell me how to get an A.<\/line><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/map>\n<\/line>\n

RUSH: Well, now it\u2019s a matter of great pride. That is just amazing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely. Her and my dad both wanted you to know, the chart that you have in the back of the book that the shows the city map —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and has the name of the streets, and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — where Edward Winslow was staying, his little plot of land and Bradford\u2019s plot of land and Cooke\u2019s plot of land, that all three of them, they\u2019re related to each other by that, all three of our ancestors were there together.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Isn\u2019t that just amazing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It is. It\u2019s absolutely amazing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: See, I thought you were gonna compliment my map.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, go ahead. Go ahead.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) No, you know, I\u2019m an ego freak. I think everything\u2019s about me. I\u2019m just kidding. I\u2019m just taunting the left there. I\u2019m just blown away by this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m glad I could blow you away. From what I hear — I listen to your show when I come out here and sit with my grandmother and stuff — it\u2019s not easy to blow you away, so I\u2019m kind of proud of me. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, wait a minute, you only listen to the program you come up there to see your —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I can\u2019t lie, I listen to it, yes, when I\u2019m here, and near a radio when I\u2019m at home, so —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. So you do listen to the show at home. Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. Well, Tanya, I\u2019m appreciative that you got through.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Me, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And I really appreciate your waiting.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, you\u2019re welcome. You\u2019re welcome. It wasn\u2019t bad because I love listening to you, the Obama funny things, I had a nice time sitting here laughing at it while I was listening to it. <\/p>\n
