RUSH: We mentioned earlier that Obama didn\u2019t know that Obama was living with his uncle, who happened to be an illegal alien at the time. Here\u2019s Jay Carney. This is yesterday afternoon in Washington the White House at the daily briefing. Ed Henry, the Fox News White House correspondent, said, “The White House said that in 2011, that there was no record of Obama and his uncle, Omar Obama, ever meeting. Now the Boston Globe is being told by the White House — and I assume you can elaborate here, Jay — that, in fact, they not only met, but they lived together briefly when the president was in law school. So how could you make that kind of mistake?”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

CARNEY: Folks looked at the record including the president\u2019s book and there was no evidence that they had met, and that was what was conveyed. Nobody spoke to the president. When Omar Obama said the other day and there were reports that he had said the other day that President Obama, back when he was a law school student, had stayed with him in Cambridge, I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him. Nobody had asked him in the past, and the president said that he in fact had met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school and that he stayed with him for a brief period of time until his — the president\u2019s — apartment was ready.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Nobody asked Obama if he ever lived with his uncle. They just took it upon themselves to lie for him. So Jay Carney says, “Yes, well, folks looked at the record, including the president\u2019s book, and there was no evidence that he\u2019d ever met his uncle.” Oh. So just because Obama didn\u2019t write about it in his book… I\u2019m sorry, just because Bill Ayers didn\u2019t write about it in Obama\u2019s book… By the way, do you really…?<\/p>\n

Do you think if Bill Ayers wrote a children\u2019s book for Obama with a time-traveling horse, the horse\u2019s name would probably be Redistribution, not Liberty? (chortling) That\u2019s right. Redistribution would be spreading it around. All right, let me… (interruption) What? Where do I keep the records of when I was a college-age man? Where do I keep the records of who I visited? There aren\u2019t any. I didn\u2019t keep any records of who I visited when I was a young man. <\/p>\n

There were no records. If the White House wanted to look at my records, they\u2019d have to ask me. They\u2019d have to ask me. But the White House didn\u2019t ask. They just looked at the records and they didn\u2019t see any evidence that Obama… Well, there aren\u2019t any records. They\u2019re just making that up. They said they looked at Obama\u2019s records, like his college transcripts. They looked at the same thing to see if Obama had ever lived with Uncle Omar, and they couldn\u2019t find any evidence of that.<\/p>\n

So they assumed he hadn\u2019t lived with and didn\u2019t even know him. But it\u2019s a good point. If the White House wanted to find out where you were when you were in college would they look at the records that you kept of who you visited? And they did that, and they couldn\u2019t find any evidence in Obama\u2019s records that he even knew Uncle Omar, much less visited Uncle Omar. That would be Omar Obama. (interruption)<\/line><\/p>\n

What do you mean, you don\u2019t want to ask? Ask who? They didn\u2019t want to ask who, Omar or Obama? Why wouldn\u2019t they ask Obama if he knew his own uncle? They didn\u2019t want to know whether Obama knew Omar. It\u2019s a mundane detail anyway. Hey, it\u2019s no different than Aunt Zeituni. He wrote Aunt Zeituni into the book, but he didn\u2019t write Uncle Omar. He knew Aunt Zeituni. Aunt Zeituni was also illegal. We read about Aunt Zeituni, read about her in the audio version of his book that Bill Ayers wrote. At least Ayers is saying so<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Don\u2019t go away.<\/p>\n

RUSH: By the way, just to make sure there isn\u2019t any confusion out there, Uncle Omar is Aunt Zeituni\u2019s brother, but there\u2019s a lesson here, folks. If you are Obama and you like your illegal alien uncle, you can keep your illegal alien uncle and your illegal alien aunt, too. If you like your illegal alien aunt and uncle, you can keep \u2019em if you\u2019re Obama. Other people\u2019s get deported. So here\u2019s Obama. He knows Aunt Zeituni. He writes about her. But he didn\u2019t know about Uncle Omar, who is Aunt Zeituni\u2019s brother. <\/p>\n

What a tangled web. What an intricately woven web of deceit. By the way, Aunt Zeituni has ignored several deportation orders — and by the late 1980s, Uncle Omar was already ignoring a deportation order, which is a felony. Aunt Zeituni did the same thing. I mean, Zeituni and Omar basically said, “Okay, kick us out,” but if you\u2019re Omar, how do you feel? Obama says he doesn\u2019t even know who you are when he knows who Zeituni is? <\/p>\n

Look, we\u2019ve all got our family problems. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s like Ross Perot said, “Everybody\u2019s got us the crazy uncle in the basement.” <\/p>\n

RUSH: I really appreciate that. That is effort. That\u2019s commitment.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Basically I\u2019m talking about Obamacare today.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

\"original\"CALLER: I wish the president would just stay off the air and go in his office, talk from his office to us if he has to, but be in his office and do some work and get off the TV.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: He\u2019s working harder than anybody ever has on this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t think so. He has another distraction now, Mandela. Now he has to go to South Africa probably next week. He won\u2019t work another five or 10 days.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The funeral for Mandela\u2019s on the 15th, did I see that right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s next Friday.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Next Friday, okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019ll be distracted. You brought up something just a little bit ago about Obamacare and his uncle, his illegal uncle, his immigration problem uncle and aunt. How are they gonna get Obamacare?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you kidding, how are they gonna get Obamacare?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. They can\u2019t. They have no Social Security numbers, if that\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Uh, they\u2019re the aunt and uncle of the president. They\u2019ll be treated if they get sick.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019ll be treated. I understand that. But my friends can\u2019t get even get covered.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know you\u2019re asking facetiously. Now, seriously, you wish Obama would actually work on Obamacare instead of going on TV and talking?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He has fixes to get done before the deadline on the 27th.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you think…? Now, seriously, Steve. Seriously, seriously. Do you think he cares?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s supposed to. He says he cares.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He told everybody yesterday he cared, and he wanted them all to sign up, and his liberal friends agreed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: With all these people, remember what he did. He lied repeatedly 39, 40 times to people all over the country: “If you like your doctor and your policy, you can keep it,” and then people got cancellation after cancellation after cancellation. If he really cared, why not just broom this thing? Cancel it and start over and get it right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s what he should be doing, right?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, but he won\u2019t so that what\u2019s the question? Why? Why won\u2019t he just broom it and get it right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: ‘Cause he has a bureaucracy problem.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, it\u2019s because this is what\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It is what\u2019s right? I\u2019ve been able to keep my plan for the last three or four years without any changes, just increasing my rates. When I ask why my rates go up, they say, “Your group is there.” (sic) I say, “Wait a second. You don\u2019t deserve a 13 or 14% raise this year,” but my plan hasn\u2019t changed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Give it time.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Just the price has changed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It will.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well…<\/p>\n

RUSH: Everybody\u2019s plan is gonna change. You don\u2019t need insurance for contraceptives, do you?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well?<\/p>\n

CALLER: But I still have it on there, and I have maternity on there, and I\u2019ve had it for 30 years.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019ve been paying for maternity coverage for 30 years?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. For as long as I can remember.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Then why does Obama have to get working for you? You don\u2019t have a complaint.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The softball buddies of mine that I coach can\u2019t even get Obamacare. They have to work two jobs.<\/p>\n
