CALLER: Hi. It\u2019s great to talk to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I want to talk about a couple things, but I want to talk about my grandpa, because a couple days ago you were talking about how the rich were demonized and put down. He owns his own company, built it up from the bottom, the ground, and he gives away to charity, and he is taxed, and, I mean, it\u2019s incredible how much he\u2019s taxed. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, I know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: By this government.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: And he does not have a jet. He doesn\u2019t have a boat. He\u2019s not riding around playing golf at the country club. He works, right? That\u2019s what he did.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. I know. He is 88 years old and he works hard every single day.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly. That\u2019s what most of the rich do. They work. They have to earn it somehow.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019re not the jet setting partiers that TMZ and so forth would lead you to believe. And that\u2019s why they\u2019re excellent role models, or should be, instead of being demonized as suspects and blamed for why other people don\u2019t have as much as they do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s great to hear you\u2019re proud of your granddad.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, yeah, I mean, I heard you talk about that on Monday and then on Tuesday after the president gave his speech, and I couldn\u2019t watch the whole thing because I just turned it off and I\u2019m sick of the same stuff —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I hear you, Jamie. It was tough. I only watched it \u2019cause I had to. I really didn\u2019t want to watch. I feel such a disconnect from this. This is the first president in my I don\u2019t feel like I have anything in common. I feel like a total stranger. I actually feel like I\u2019m an enemy.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I know. I mean, I live in a red state, North Carolina, with a blue little dot, Chapel Hill.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, well, you\u2019re in a blue city.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, yeah. And I can\u2019t really talk about anything because I don\u2019t want to cause any kind of backlash or whatever from my clients. I\u2019m a trainer in a gym, and I don\u2019t want to cause any kind of animosity towards me \u2019cause of my political views, and it\u2019s horrible that I have to be suppressed like that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you don\u2019t have to, but I understand why you want to. So you\u2019re a trainer, huh?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A physical trainer?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Like aerobics and stuff or weights? <\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m a personal trainer so I\u2019m in the gym, I have clients, and they hire me as a private personal trainer.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you a whip cracker? Do you work \u2019em hard? I mean, do you push them beyond —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — what they think their limits are? That\u2019s good. That\u2019s good.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019d never hire you \u2019cause I don\u2019t want to be pushed that way. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) I also want to talk about Pat McCrory. It\u2019s so excellent what he\u2019s doing in North Carolina. It\u2019s incredible. I\u2019m just so happy that he\u2019s doing what he\u2019s doing.<\/p>\n
