RUSH: Now to sound bite number 19. You know, I have been waiting for this sound bite. You\u2019ve heard it by now. It\u2019s been viral for 24 hours, and I am routinely surprised when I think I\u2019m not going to be. I\u2019m not surprised. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m gonna be surprised when I am. I just wanted to see what kind of reaction this would get, and it\u2019s our beloved, one-of-a-kind, vice president. Biden was at Philadelphia yesterday at the 30th Street Station at the unveiling of Amtrak\u2019s new Cities Sprinter Locomotive. It\u2019s an electric train, and he\u2019s talking about it need for infrastructure investment. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Here is, among other things, what he said.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: If I blindfolded someone and took him at two o\u2019clock in the morning into the airport in Hong Kong and said, “Where do you think you are?” They\u2019d say, “This must be America. It\u2019s a modern airport.” If I took him blindfold and took him to the LaGuardia airport in New York, you must think, “I must be in some Third World country.” <\/p>\n

RUSH: This is a guy who said you can\u2019t go into a 7-Eleven unless you could speak Indian, or you can\u2019t get a job there unless you are Indian or speak with a slight Indian accent, and now he\u2019s calling LaGuardia airport in New York a Third World country\u2019s airport. There\u2019s been no reaction. De Blasio in New York? Ho-hum. Nobody cares. Now, what would have happened if Cheney had said this? <\/p>\n

What if Cheney had gone to LaGuardia and said, “That\u2019s a Third World airport!”<\/p>\n

(impression) “Well, what\u2019s wrong with the Third World? That\u2019s a racist comment! Do you believe this? What the vice president is saying is you go into LaGuardia and all you see are a bunch of dark-skinned immigrants and janitors.” That\u2019s what they would accuse him of meaning. Now, here comes Plugs talking about, admittedly, an infrastructure deal, but he\u2019s talking about LaGuardia as a Third World airport. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Have you ever seen people who have been running a country for more than five years take less responsibility for anything? How many stimulus dollars have been allocated to upgrade the infrastructure of the airports and the schools and the bridges and the roads and the whatevers? <\/p>\n

These people, they run around and they trash the country while they are running it! The stimulus and all the stimuli was supposed to fix this! Hell, just the existence of Obama on the scene was supposed to fix this. I\u2019ll tell you what: These people are enamored of the ChiComs. They do love \u2019em. It doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s Obama, Biden. The ChiComs can\u2019t do anything wrong.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
