CALLER: Hi, Rush. Glad to be able to talk to you finally.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m glad you made it, sir. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, you kind of brought me out of the closet about 20 years ago. I didn\u2019t know I was a conservative until I listened to your show for a while, and it was like, “Huh, I didn\u2019t know.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Really? You didn\u2019t know you were a conservative?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well I —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Until you listened?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That was a confusing time. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: It always is. It always is. That\u2019s the power of the media. It\u2019s always confusing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, welcome home, sir. It\u2019s great to have you back.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve got a couple of things I want to comment on. I am really pleased to be a conservative and not a confused liberal.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Good.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your book. The Brave Pilgrims<\/a> is wonderful.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I can\u2019t get my hands on it because I have nieces and nephews that are passing it around. They\u2019re enjoying it, and I wanted to read it again. I have a little dyslexia so it takes me a little longer to read it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019ll tell you: When we finish here, don\u2019t hang up. Snerdley will get your address and I\u2019ll send you the audio version.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, that\u2019d be great.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The audio version is for sale, too. They haven\u2019t done a good job marketing it. The audio version, it\u2019s in a different part of the store, but it\u2019s also at Amazon. But I gotta tell you, I did it, it\u2019s good, it\u2019s quality, and I just finished the audio version for the second book, and, if you\u2019ve got dyslexia or if you can\u2019t get the book back, this is the best alternative. So I\u2019ll send you one.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The reason I got it is when I heard you read the first chapter on Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah. It\u2019s a tease. That\u2019s exactly why I did it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It worked. The other thing is, on Tuesday you said a little something about preppers that kind of sat wrong with me. They\u2019re not a bunch of crazies that are worried about the climate change man-made or anything like that. You know the earth goes through cycles and things like that, and preppers that I know of believe in almost everything that you do. They\u2019re almost all conservatives, independent voters or Republicans that have a backbone. They prep for disasters that are both nature and DC-made<\/a>. <\/line><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/map>\n<\/line>\n

RUSH: Oh. Oh. Oh.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And, you know, they\u2019re pretty smart folks.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You mean the preppers?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s better to be a prepper, I guess, than a denier.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The deniers get… I mean, deniers, they catch real hell. The preppers, you know, they\u2019re just thought of as little weird. But the deniers are like Nazis.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah. And the thing, too, if you\u2019re prepared, well, you know, if the old stuff doesn\u2019t hit the fan, well, you\u2019re stocked up for a while, don\u2019t have to buy groceries for a while.<\/p>\n
