RUSH: It\u2019s great to have you on the program, Anderson. Welcome.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s great to be talking to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much. What\u2019s up?<\/p>\n

CALLER: My brother, my sister, and I love your Rush Revere book.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Aw, that\u2019s just great. <\/p>\n

<\/a>CALLER: Our favorite character is Liberty the horse.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah, a lot of people love Liberty. Liberty\u2019s a fun character.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you\u2019re very nice. Have you read the whole book?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. We\u2019re only on Chapter 4 right now, but we read it every night and we love it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Isn\u2019t that great? You already know you love it and you\u2019re only on Chapter 4.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, are you excited about the new one coming out?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, it\u2019s available for pre-order now. It\u2019s Rush Revere and the First Patriots.<\/a> Anderson, it\u2019s tough. As the renowned author, it\u2019s hard for me, \u2019cause Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims is the first, and it\u2019s got a special place in my heart as the first book in the series — and it is good. But, you know, you try to make everything you do better than the previous version of what you did.<\/p>\n

Like every day, here, I try to make the radio show better and better every day — and as I write new books, I try to make them better. So without saying anything bad about the book you\u2019re reading, the next one is really good, too, Anderson. I just want to give you a heads-up. If you like this one, you are going to really love the next one.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the entire book and it takes about four and a half hours to listen to it straight through, which you can listen to it a little bit here or there. If you\u2019re driving in the car with your parents, you could ask them to play it then. It\u2019s the same book, and it\u2019s the same words, but read by me. It may be a little bit different to you, I bring certain parts of it to life a little bit differently, so I\u2019d like to send you a copy of the audio version, if that would be okay.<\/p>\n
