RUSH: Edmund in Cumberland, Rhode Island, well-being to the EIB Network. Hello, sir.
CALLER: Hey, Rush.
RUSH: Yeah, hi.
CALLER: Thanks for taking my call.
RUSH: Yes, sir.
CALLER: What I’m wondering about is, you never mention the office jobs like computer programmers and the call centers that are going to India, basically. Also, the Indians — the people from India — being hired by companies, I know, here in Rhode Island, anyways, as programmers replacing Americans.
RUSH: Yeah. Well, we have discussed this on many occasions.
CALLER: Mmm.
RUSH: It hasn’t come up recently but we have discussed it. We’ve gone into it in great detail. In fact, this is… Interestingly enough, you know where this is next gonna rear its head? When they bring immigration back. Folks, let me warn you. Illegal immigration, dealing with that? Don’t think that’s on the back burner. They’re gonna bring that back, and we start talking about the H1BV visas, the immigrations debate is gonna focus on: “Why do we have no limit…?” Well, I don’t have time to get into detail, but what you said here, Edmund, is gonna be a central focus when this debate revives itself. I don’t know when they’re gonna bring it up, those in favor of it. But you know that’s lurking. It’s gonna happen, and that’s when it will next be discussed in great detail.
